The new plan identifies that all creators of motor vehicles-from two-wheeler creators to commercial automobiles and even automobiles brought in by car companies-need to willingly fix, absolutely free, any specialized problem that jeopardises protection.
Vehicles within seven decades of produce will be covered under the protection remember. Companies will be required to post announcements on their websites and promote through other media.
SIAM Chief executive S Sandilya told correspondents in Delhi on Monday: "The plan is a agreement of all the members and is another effort towards our investment to automobile quality and liability. He, however, added that the plan has also recommended govt involvement in situation of proven offenses.
